Nissan's Easy-Fill Tire Alert

Press release for National Tire Safety Week

Commercials I Hate.com discussion of the ad

"It currently comes standard on all 2013 Nissan Altima, 2012 Nissan LEAF and 2012 Nissan Quest models, with standard or optional availability on more products to follow later this year as the automaker continues it launch of five all-new models in the next 15 months."

In another press release, a spokesperson is quoted: "It's one of those simple slap your forehead moments, as to why someone has not thought of it before," said Vishnu Jayamohan with Nissan Product Planning and Advanced Strategy.

Easy Fill Tire Alert is used in select Nissan models, including LEAF, in the United States and Canada. The same Nissan vehicles manufactured for sale in Europe do not use Easy Fill Tire Alert, horn honking for RKE, or Panic Alarm.

If you think Easy Fill Tire Alert is a bad idea, don't keep it to yourself, and don't just post about it online. Let Nissan know!
