Thank you

January 31, 2016 | For realizing that your North American market is capable of walking away from their cars without horn-honking lock feedback.

For recognizing North America's safety regulations 1 and noise ordinances. 2

For designing an electronic tone that sounds as good as the best one out there and better than the others.

For setting this in motion.

Thank you.

With the 2015 redesigned MKC and the 2016 redesigned MKX, the Lincoln Motor Company transitioned acoustic lock confirmation away from a horn sound to an electronic tone. We hope that Lincoln will do the same with its other models, and that Ford will follow suit - with or without having to wait for redesign.
